Our culture has changed from eating home-cooked meals to processed food and it is killing us. Dieting isn’t helping either. We must get that word out of our vocabulary. Making drastic short-term changes to our eating habits to go on a diet has been proven time and again to make things worse when we go back to our old habits.
Healthy eating means eating fresh, sensible food. I believe in the Mediterranean lifestyle and there are all sorts of clinical studies that show how effective it can be. It focuses on eating fruits, nuts and vegetables and lean, healthy meats.
